I just noticed that these are X-rated, Adult only movies! What exactly did "Steve Martin" get up to in the British version? Any idea if it was R-rated in America when it first came out?
My understanding is that the UK pretty much put the X rating on all monster/horror films at least through the 1960s and maybe into the 1970s, whether or not the film was really "adult," thus depriving many UK youngsters from getting the proper exposure to these movies!
Go-Go Godzilla is my daily Godzilla collectibles blog! Come back daily to check out vintage posters, stills, lobby cards, toys, and other Godzilla-related collectibles, plus stuff from other giant monster movies, like Gorgo, Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas, King Kong Escapes, and more!
