Interesting name. I would have assumed they would have gone with a spanglaninzed version of Gojira.

ReplyDeleteThe title actually translates as "Japan under the threat of the Monster" or something similar, so it's not as if they called Gojira "Japon". Apparently, it's based on the Raymond Burr version, so I guess they just called the monster "Godzilla" in the dialog.
