    Jon,

    That Halloween countdown sounds great. Any suggestions as to what I should post?

    P.S. That still is awesome. For perhaps obvious reasons my son and I really enjoy "Son of Godzilla." Is that a lobby card, or just a promotional-type picture?

    The original seller on eBay that I got the photo from said it was a still, but it could very well be a Japanese lobby card.

    So far as the Halloween countdown goes... well, pretty much anything goes, so long as it's monster or Halloween-related. Do you have any Godzilla collectibles you'd like to post photos of? Or perhaps memories of when you first saw each Godzilla movie? That kind of thing would be great!

    That is absolutely a lobby card. And even better it's an original 67 release and not a re-release. Did you get any others from this seller?

    I should say that I didn't actually buy the original photo from him, I just got the photo you see above from his auction. I probably have more from the same seller coming up, and I'll try to remember when I'm doing new posts to identify them as lobby cards, but more may show up that I've prepared in advance saying they're stills...

    It was on eBay, and the photo was uploaded to my Flickr account on June 17, 2008 -- one of the reasons I started saving these photos from the auctions was because after a month or so, the photos disappear!
