A poster far more explosive and dramatic than the movie itself, one I find about the weakest of the classic Sixties series. Regrettably, it marks the first time Godzilla was portrayed as a clown with his "dance of joy." Colorful and juvenile and good fun nonetheless.
Go-Go Godzilla is my daily Godzilla collectibles blog! Come back daily to check out vintage posters, stills, lobby cards, toys, and other Godzilla-related collectibles, plus stuff from other giant monster movies, like Gorgo, Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas, King Kong Escapes, and more!
I have been a Navy journalist, word processor, graphic designer, medical assisting student, cook, and truck driver, and am currently an eBay seller as well as an employee at a big retail store. I have been and always will be into comics, sf, tv, cartoons, monsters, oldies rock, and lots of other stuff.

ReplyDeleteIt's interesting, I must've seen that movie at least a half-dozen times as a child, but I never remembered his highlander jig!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how bad the Godzilla movie may be (yes, even Godzilla's Revenge), I always find something to enjoy about them!
