  1. Actually, the monster appears to be Gappa the Triphibian, and the cast pictures are all from "Destroy All Monsters," which just adds to the confusion.

  2. Yeah, looking at it now, I'm pretty sure you're right. The Italians took a LOT of liberties with Godzilla movie posters and lobby cards (photobustas)!
